Writer/creative person Jeff Lemire has joined a growing number of risible creators to partner with the online platform Substack to serialise new original comics ahead of their traditional launching via a paid subscription newsletter - although for Lemire, it's much that.
Lemire plans to serialise two major projects - an original visual communication novel called Fishflies, and a new Black Hammer comic centered on the Colonel Unearthly character.
"I don't steady cognise what to claim IT really, 'newssheet' seems much too limiting for what I hope to do on this platform," Lemire writes. "My intent present is to create something akin to an online studio; a new chopine to release unprecedented comics and a confluence place to apportion totally my work in progress with you and also pass rafts of exclusive new material.

"In many ways, Fishflies is a climax of everything I've finished in comics," He writes. "I conceive it combines the best of all my books.
